Hey everyone,

My name is Marco, and I’m part of the Product Marketing team here. This is my first time writing for our blog, and I couldn't be more excited about what I have to share with you today.

While we've seen new features like Governance and the UltraHonk verifier go live, we also have been working on a crucial piece of infrastructure behind the scenes.

Today, we’re announcing VFlow, a tool designed with one purpose: to connect zkVerify to the entire EVM ecosystem.

More Than a Bridge: A Gateway to DeFi

A core challenge for any specialized blockchain is ensuring its native asset can interact with the broader DeFi ecosystem, which is predominantly EVM-based. VFlow is our designed solution for this: it functions as a robust tool, allowing our native token, $VFY, to move and be utilized on any EVM-compatible chain.

Once in mainnet, this tool will unlock several DeFi use cases for $VFY, including its use in DEXes, as collateral in lending protocols, and for integration into virtually any dApp, ensuring that value will flow frictionlessly and bidirectionally - making $VFY truly composable across DeFi, everywhere it lives.

Your Mission: Help Us Test the Bridge!

VFlow is now live on the Volta Testnet, and we need your help to battle-test this new piece of infrastructure. We have set up a community quest in the ProofPoints dashboard to guide you through the process and reward points for your successful completion of the task.

Here’s how you can get started:

  1. Find the Quest: Head over to points.zkverify.io to find the new VFlow testing task.
  2. Get Testnet $tVFY: Grab your $tVFY from our dedicated faucet here: https://zkverify-faucet.zkverify.io/
  3. Bridge and Verify: Follow the quest instructions to bridge your $tVFY tokens to VFlow. You can watch the magic happen and confirm your transaction using the VFlow explorer: https://vflow-testnet.subscan.io/

For devs out there who prefer to get hands dirty and manage all the parameters, you can follow this section in our documentation: https://docs.zkverify.io/architecture/VFlow/VFY-Bridging/token-teleport

Please note: For this initial phase of testing, our focus is on the first half of the journey. We are asking you to bridge your $tVFY from the zkVerify testnet to the VFlow parachain. Support for bridging from VFlow to other EVM chains will be introduced in a subsequent phase. Let's work together to make sure this first link is rock-solid!

Thank you!

On behalf of the entire team, I want to extend a thank you to all the community members taking part in this journey. We're incredibly excited about the future that VFlow unlocks and can't wait to continue building it with you.

All the best,

Marco
