zkVerify Runtime Upgrade 0.16.0 is Live - Built for Berlin, Ready for What's Next

a new version release is built for berlin , ready for what 's next .

We’ve just released zkVerify’s Runtime Upgrade 0.16.0 - engineered to ensure a seamless experience for developers heading to the Horizen-sponsored zkHack Berlin hackathon on June 20 - June 22.

What’s New

1. Risc0 v2.1 Support

Risc0 just rolled out verifier v2.1 with a new API and updated proof formats. zkVerify now fully supports it, so you can use the latest Risc0 stack without friction.

No downgrades. No patchwork. Just build and verify.

2. Upgraded to Polkadot v2412

We’ve also updated our runtime to polkadot-stable-2412. This upgrade lays the groundwork for future enhancements to zkVerify.

With this upgrade, zkVerify continues to be the fastest, most dev-friendly way to verify proofs - whether you’re building a zkRollup, an AI verifier, or a new identity primitive.

Hackathon-ready. Production-safe.

Let’s build trust that scales — see you in Berlin.
